The Humble Beginnings:

1. Beginning Introduction:
//Wyatt Warren was always a fan of horror, even at a young age he would be found reading and engrossing his little mind in scary fictions for children.  At the age of 5, Wyatt’s parents were murdered in cold blood, being part of a string of brutal slayings from a notorious serial killer known as ‘the Slasher.’ Homeless and
parent-less, Wyatt spent many lonely months being passed around in foster care, His only company being the films he grew so close to and the growing obsession for killers within the films. Wyatt would usually draw and playing make-believe with these famous figures in horror, much to his carers and teachers' dismay. After almost a year of being passed down from the house to house, Wyatt finally found himself in the care of his Uncle, the town's sheriff, who had opted to take care of the boy not from the goodness in his heart but more for the sum of money that came with caring for Wyatt.

2. Scene 2- The venture into adult life

//Growing up Wyatt had it hard, with a mixture of neglect and abuse from his uncle as well as being bullied and tormented in middle school on his looks and bizarre obsession for the macabre genre of film. However, it was here that Wyatt found himself becoming close friends with a boy called Austin Garvey, an average guy with blonde hair- a little on the chubby side with handsome features. The two hit it off well and remain close buddies until high school where here Wyatt’s luck began to change for the good. People began to like Wyatt’s presence and rather goofy attitude, being deemed as the class clown to peers and as a delinquent to staff members. His behavior getting pulled up by his uncle many times. It was here in high school that he decided that he wanted to become a film director… or rather he wanted to make his own horror movie. So, he began to write in his spare time… writing scripts and plot ideas of how he would want his perfect slasher film to start.

3. Wyatt's Movie
over the months Wyatt’s hobby became more of a blind fantasy, an obsession. He wanted to make the his own horror film… no matter what it took...

4. That dreaded night

One Night Wyatt and his friends are invited to attend a local house party, all of them dancing and socializing with their peers. Wyatt finding himself the gossip between some of the more popular girls of the school, playing along with their catcalls and perverted comments. The young delinquent slightly tipsy from the alcohol and giddy atmosphere, however, aware enough to know his actions and be smart about them. As the night drifted on and the music boomed, a rather tall popular girl found interest in Wyatt, escorting him away from the busy crowds below to a more private room. Wyatt was not okay; he knew what she was up to and wanted to leave; but it was too late… she was on top of him and taking what she wanted. Seconds felt like hours and Wyatt felt sick- he did not want this, he wanted to leave… run far away… scream… but no one would of heard him over the music. Just do something to make this stop. He eventually found his strength and pushed her off, grabbing his clothes before sprinting off and out of the part. Ignoring all the staring faces and the screaming insults of the girl who had assaulted him. Wyatt kept hidden for two days, keeping safe within the restraints of his bed trying to erase the traumatic event… again going to his movies to help sooth his mind… but even that wasn’t helping.

Returning to school was the catalysis of his downfall, Wyatt’s once great life crumbling In front of him. The tables had been flipped and the girl had cried wolf, painting Wyatt as her assaulter, a notion that over a few whispers and gossips had ruined this young man’s life. Wyatt sort comfort in his friends, or at least Austin yet; there was nothing but cold stares and bitter words of hate. Wyatt was enemy number one…. and all he had left was the film….

5. The puzzle pieces

The house caught fire around 1:34 am, Wyatt’s uncle having to be rescued from the downstairs bathroom after finding the lock had broke on the door. Wyatt however, wasn’t so lucky- his chard corpse found within his bedroom curled into a fetus under his bed,

Authority’s
"clearly he hid there to escape the smoke"

His body was cremated soon after, the turnout for his funeral being surprisingly big for someone everyone hated. The main group of focus is a mixture of Wyatt's old friends and the three tormentors that framed him, the girl, her boyfriend, and another jock friend.

Unknown to them, a figure watches from a distance.

1 year later...

5. The Anniversary

A year passes, Wyatt's death becomes old news and part of the dark past as his death was chalked to be suicide over the events that hung over him. The insurance over the house and his nephew’s death gave the sheriff a good some of money, having him sitting pretty as he recovered from the severe burns he caught from the accident. Setting the beginning cogs for conspiracy against him.

Each one of the kids who were involved with Wyatt’s supposed suicide had all moved on, each having found themselves tackling their own troubles and goals in their lives, as all of them were facing their final year of high school; getting ready to celebrate their summer vacation away from Hutchington. That was until they each received a letter inviting them to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Wyatt’s death… a final goodbye before they all left to go to college. – From Austin

Admiring Austins offer and chance at redemption from the guilt of Wyatt's death, the kids found themselves at the old Pearl Willow Cabins down by the lakeside. It didn't take long for them to begin the celebration, all cheering out to Wyatt in remembrance as if they were all buddy-buddy... (Authors note: its funny how in death people change their depictions of you..)

It didn't take long for the police to find the body of Wyatt's uncle, sitting on the couch with his head bashed in. The lead detective finding an invitation to celebrate his late nephew's death... a small message left on plain side.

"1 down..... 5 more to go"
Along with an odd symbol of three lines going down with a line going across... the exact symbol used in the past by, "The Slasher"
The police were put into high alert- feeling they had a copycat on their hands.

<<It would take 3 hours for them to arrive at the cabin>>

  • The first death began with one from (my) the group, a petite girl that used to trade lunch snacks with Wyatt when she wasn't spread death messages on his Myspace. Her death was slow, first with a whack against her head before being left to hang in the cabin's wardrobe.

  • The second and third tied together with the jock's friend and his new hook up going down to the woods to have a little fun. He dies first, tripping over a set wire snare before getting his head caved in by a newly revealed killer holding a hard wooded bat. She's left to run and tell the others of the killer's presence before being shot with an arrow in the shoulder. (Some supplies leftover in the old shed for when there are scouts down here in the summertime)

  • Next is that jock, the instigator of the rumor. he dies slow... and by the killer's own hand, up close and personal.... the knife lodging into his chest... watching as the life leaves those dark green eyes...

  • Lastly... Her... the one who started this all... the one who left me feeling this way- her death was inspired by a  film I watched. she thought she was safe hiding in one of the tents they had set up. Instead of taking her out in a sleeping bag. I zipped her up in the tent and took the pegs out. tying her like a meat package before hanging over the campfire like the piece of meat she was... now everyone could have a bite at her...

Austin tried so hard to protect them, but now he had to protect himself. The killer hot on his tail as he made it to an old, tall oak tree. He latched and scrambled up the tree, the masked killer following close behind. The two reached the top where a scuffle began- Austin wrestling the mask off his assailant.

Austins eyes widened at the reveal, seeing his supposed to be dead friend glaring at him. the mask falling from his grasp as Wyatt lunged forward to attack once again. Austin wrestling for his life, holding back the knife as he was able to best Wyatt. Knocking the taller man, tumbling down to the floor with a hard thud.
Austin cautiously climbed down, looking at the barely moving body of Wyatt on the floor as he began to notice the splash of red and blue lights coming closer to the Cabin. Hope...
Foolishly leaving the injured killer alone.
Austin ran to the police, his movement frantic and desperate after surviving the brutal events.
However,  this didn't end well for the blonde; he was promptly handcuffed and slammed against the police car,  his desperate pleads to check round for Wyatt's body being met with mock disbelief. Wyatt had left... gone to the woods.
